Pine Rigg is within a complex of apartments known as Quarry Rigg, ideal for those looking for a central location within walking distance of a variety of shops and a good choice of restaurants close at hand. There is a regular bus service and the railway station is situated close by for holidaymakers preferring to use public transport. Pine Rigg is within a few minutes walk of the lake and is furnished in a contemporary style and we are sure that much use will be made of the balcony for ’al fresco’ evenings whenever possible.

Very convenient location, close to local shops and only a five minute walk from the pier. However, prospective visitors please note: THERE IS NO WIFI IN THIS APARTMENT. We did not realise this before booking, as the information was buried within a long list of non-inclusions. Mobile coverage in UK buildings is disgraceful, so the lack of WiFi can be a deal breaker. Also the apartment is not designed to be living friendly. Nothing to hang things in toilet etc.
