My wife and i loved Nutkins Nook so much we came home and booked another week there next year. There was not anything the owners had not thought about, spot on.

There were only 2 drawbacks . The first has been mentioned in other reviews - there is no freezer, not even an ice box in the fridge ! This is a huge omission in a self catering holiday cottage. The 2nd has nothing to do with the cottage but the access from the lane to the main road . Turning right towards Ambleside is extremely dangerous. The road bends slightly in both directions and the bus shelter with Perspex windows marrs the view from the left. In high season the road has constant traffic making a right turn extremely difficult
