Guests appreciate the proximity to Bowness and the Lake District’s attractions, as well as the ample space for families and groups. While most found the property clean and cosy, a few noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The majority of guests enjoyed their stay and would return, highlighting the property’s charm and suitability for a relaxing getaway.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, but several reviews mention issues such as stained mattress covers, dusty skirting boards, cobwebs, and occasional dirty appliances. While these concerns were not universal, they were noted by enough guests to impact the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its peaceful setting, beautiful views, and convenient access to Bowness and Windermere. Guests appreciated being close to attractions while enjoying a tranquil environment, though a car is recommended for ease of travel.

A large 3 bed apartment all en suite was great. All amenities present. The building communal entrance let it down, i believe some painting work had been done and carpets not cleaned, it was not a great first impression but the actual apartment once inside was very good.It was let down again by some scaffolding outside which hindered one of the rooms window view but not owners fault Great garden area for the kids, they loved itnb there is a back path to the marina to avoid the busy road where there is no path

The apartment is beautiful and is situated in a large house and is surrounded by a well maintained great garden .At the moment a great deal of construction work is going on in the park so you cannot enjoy the facilities advertised. The weather was cold and the apartment was cold and we could not adjust the central heating ,we felt cold for most of our stay, but there was plenty of hot water. Except for the oven which was very dirty, the place was clean.I have rented many holiday homes but I have never had to strip the beds and empty the bins before departure. The part of the building where apartment 4 is situated is being refurbished at the moment and I was not made aware of it, so I was surprised to find that 2 of the windows in one of the lounges were obstructed by scaffolding .If had been aware of all these issues I would have rented somewhere else.
