As the name suggests, this modern apartment enjoys a wonderful view over Bowness to Lake Windermere and is in an ideal location for holidaymakers to sample all the delights that this popular tourist destination has to offer. A wealth of local attractions can be enjoyed on foot for all ages and, as the apartment has that all important private parking spot, there is little need to use the car. Set out on two floors, the accommodation is very light and airy and presented in a contemporary style with subtle colours and quality fittings. The Lake can be easily seen from all rooms to the front of the property, the lounge room having a most mesmerising view.

A lovely apartment with great views right in the centre of Bowness. We had a lovely week's holiday and would return.Please be aware that the walk back up to the apartment from the town is up a steep hill followed by a staircase to access the property from the rear.May we make one or two suggestions..?A 'welcome pack' in the kitchen would have been nice, plus some more loo roll! We also would have benefitted from a more relevant information folder about the apartment, on how to control the central heating for example. Please also be aware that the fridge is not particularly cold and some food may go off quickly as a consequence. Anyway, these really are first world issues...we had a great time and would happily return.

Great location and very comfortable apartment with views of the lake, we will definitely be staying again. Be aware that your satnav may take you to the front of the building, the entrance to the apartment is at the rear.

Lake View apartment was very well situated with good access to nearby restaurants, shops and walks. It's great that it has got a parking space via the back lane of the apartment. However, on arriving, the property looks very grim from the entrance. The door to the property definitely needs attention, it needs painting and it won't open or close without some force. Quite a disappointing and unnecessary introduction to the property - so simple and quick to put it right ! Once inside though it's ok, though a little jaded. It hasn't been decorated for a decade or so but it does have some charm, in the living room especially. The television is very disappointing, it also is very out of date and barely able to get a signal if you're hoping to watch anything other than the BBC channels. The kitchen is ok, it just needs some decent lighting. And a plug for the sink! I rang and asked for them to supply something so I could use the sink but they didn't bother after saying they would. The bathroom is good however, the most up to date room in the house. The bedrooms are very dated but ok, the double bed was very comfortable so that was a real plus. On the whole, I found the property was good because you can work round it's faults for a week. However, it would be really helpful if there was a file, or a pamphlet telling you about the property and how to use the cooker for example, I couldn't get the grill going - no instructions !
