Exploring the ground floor there’s also a shower room, and a handsome dining room perfect for marking special occasions, alongside an elegant, beautifully arranged kitchen with a breakfast bar and additional dining area. Upstairs, the first floor features a bathroom and three delightful bedrooms (one en-suite): there are two lovely king-size rooms and a spacious family room with a single bunk over the main double bed. Outside, there are enclosed front and back gardens, each with a lawn, patio and seating area. There’s also ample space for storing bikes and sports equipment, with room on the drive for three cars.

Bowness has a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. From here you can take a steamship trip across Windermere, with other local attractions including the Windermere Jetty Museum, Brockhole on Windermere, Holehird Gardens, Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre and Wray Castle, all within 9 miles. The beautiful Coniston Water and Esthwaite Water are both within 13 miles.
