The location is praised for its spectacular views and proximity to local attractions, though one mention of occasional jet noise slightly impacts the score.

Hazlerigg Farm was a cosy cottage set far away from civilisation, but close enough to a multitude of areas and activities all within a short drive away. The cottage was as neat as a pin and had everything you needed. The beds very comfortable especially after a day of hiking! We could not say enough things about Paul, one of the owners who was brilliant and answered any questions we had, as well as filling us in on local knowledge. If you are up for a walk with spectacular 360 views of Windermere as a reward - check out Gummers How! We found something to do every day of our week long stay and did not want to leave - we left relaxed, recharged and refreshed. We would HIGHLY recommend Hazelrigg to anyone looking for 1st class accommodation with spectacular views and local walks with short drives to Windermere, Coniston Lake, Fell Foot Park just to name a few places to visit - you will not regret booking if you are thinking about it :)
