For stunning views of Coniston and the Old Man, visitors can take a stroll up Carron Crag (2.5 miles), which is located nearby. You can also take a short drive to Lake Windermere (8.5 miles) or Coniston Water (9 miles), where you can indulge in a variety of waterside activities such as boat trips and windsurfing lessons. For a more leisurely walk, Tarn Hows (6.5 miles) is a picturesque spot, while the majestic and rugged Langdales are just a short drive away.
