A lovely place to stay with everything you need handy. Very cosy cottage and summerhouse wow!!! Elizabeth is a great host and really made us feel welcome. We will return. The area is I think the best in the Lake District and I like to go to a place where you can walk from your door without driving. Never in 35 years of going to the Lakes have we seen so much water. It rained most of the week but we still found things to do. Visit jersey cow ice creams just off A6 you will want to go back for more just like this lovely cottage.

The cottage is very clean and comfortable and situated in a lovely area, not too far away from Ullswater. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed sitting out in the lovely garden in the evenings.
