Beautiful cottage in a great location very quiet which was lovely. We did have issues with hot water but the plumber soon had it sorted. Loved our stay hope to book again next year. Luckily we had picked up some provisions while in Pooley Bridge as there are no local shops. Our neighbours had a delivery from Sainsbury's so that's an option but we don't shop online all in all a very enjoyable break and a good base for Ullswater, Windermere & Keswick which is well worth a visit.

Excellent cottage. Didn't realize we had access to our own private bit of the lake- just perfect for picnicking and swimming. Our own little garden fod a BBQ. Lovely walk up the back through the woods. 6 miles to Penrith for shopping not a bad run. Nice and dark to see the Percieds meteorites. Hopefully, we will be back **
