Rowanburn Lodge, a detached lodge, is beautifully situated overlooking Duke’s Pond, in a small, private development located close to Greystoke, with many benefits such as free Wi-Fi and an outdoor decked area. The area is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels, hares, roe deer and many species of birds. There is a red squirrel box on the decking with food for the friendly squirrels to feast on.
This holiday lodge is situated centrally between Keswick, Penrith, Carlisle and Ullswater making it an ideal location for exploring the northern Lake District and Cumbria. The countryside surrounding the lodge is unspoilt, with Greystoke Forest on one side and stunning views to Blencathra on the other. Nearby are the charming villages of Greystoke, Caldbeck and Hesketh Newmarket with their own pubs and local shops. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

A very comfortable lodge in a tranquil setting. Close to all the lakes and walks etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the local wildlife that visited the lodge on a daily basis was a photographers dream which my husband will attest to.
