Bathroom: P-Shaped Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for open fire included. Travel cot and highchair available on request.There can also be large leisure storage including boats on the owners nearby farm, this would need to be arranged prior to booking.. Lawned garden with sitting-out area with garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Bike/boat/canoe store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Primrose Bank is a Grade II barn conversion, undergoing full renovation in 2021, situated in the quiet village of Sockbridge, easily accessible from the M6 and just 3 miles from Pooley Bridge and Ullswater, where you will find local shops, pubs and restaurants, plus access to the lake shore. It is ideal for a large family gathering or groups of walkers seeking to enjoy the splendour of the North Lakes. The pub in Tirril is within easy walking distance and provides a restaurant and small shop. A mile away in Yanwath is another pub/restaurant, renowned for its cuisine.

Activities available locally include pony trekking within Pooley Bridge and a variety of water sports on Ullswater, including sailing instruction, as well as some of the best fell walking in the Lake District National Park. Keswick is 20 miles away, with Windermere only 24 miles, meaning all major Lake District attractions and main walks are within 1-2 hours drive from the doorstep.
