Little Beck is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and beautiful farm location with convenient access to Keswick and Penrith. Guests enjoyed the scenic dog walks, friendly farm animals, and the warm reception from the owners. Some noted the bed's firmness and suggested minor improvements to the garden and water pressure.
Guests consistently described the cottage as clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout their stay.
The location is appreciated for its beauty and proximity to Keswick and Penrith, with easy access to dog walks and local amenities. However, one review mentioned a misleading description regarding the distance to Keswick town centre.
The cottage is generally considered comfortable, with a super king size bed and cosy sofas. Some guests found the bed a bit hard, and there were comments about a draught and poor water pressure.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and clean BBQ. However, points were deducted for the mentioned uneven patio, unkempt garden, and almost non-existent Wi-Fi.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.
