Inglewood Terrace is set on the fringes of the market town of Penrith, a ground floor apartment which then splits over three floors: a twin bedroom, kitchen and dining area are situated on the lower ground, while the main living room and shower room are on the ground floor. From the living room you go up the returning staircase to the master bedroom with en-suite, with walks even from your door up to the Penrith Beacon dating back to 1719.
You could not be better placed to enjoy the Lake District with every kind of outdoor activity on hand, the stunning Eden Valley, and even over the border into Scotland. Ullswater is a mere 10 minute drive away where you can enjoy sailing, canoeing or just take a leisurely lunch trip, taking in the magnificent scenery. Right in the heart of the Lake District, a 20 minute drive will take you to the bustling market town of Keswick nestled between Skiddaw and beautiful Derwentwater. Stroll through the town with its many little shops, cafés and restaurants or take a gentle walk by the shores of Derwentwater. For a more relaxed day drive, head into the stunning Eden Valley with its lush green countryside and traditional market towns and villages like Appleby and Kirkby Stephen, and a must is a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway line which runs through the Eden Valley. Pets are welcome and there is a pub ¾ mile away, and golf nearby.

We stayed recently at inglewood terrace, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds .A little bit of figuring out the underfloor heating then it was all ok . It is generally clean however there were some cobwebs and hair balls hanging under the spiral staircase . Other than that it’s very comfortable and would definitely recommend.

A really nice place in a good part of town. Others have commented about the strange layout, but I think it's quirky. Ground floor sitting room, kitchen, dining room and bedroom 2 in the basement and bedroom 1 and bathroom (gorgeous bath!) on floor 1. Kitchen well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. The property is in a very good part of town going up towards the beacon. Plenty of parking outside. The only slight problem I had, the weather turned and I needed the heating on and couldn't find the thermostat... There was a portable thermostat but it didn't seem to work. The actual thermostat was on the wall behind the door as you go downstairs...a door that has an electric release so didn't find it until the last day, so was a bit chilly!Also couldn't see any welcome pack with instructions or directions for that anywhere. All in all I really liked the place and I would visit again if I was staying in this area 🙂

Amazing stay. Property clean with so much more than expected. Kitchen well stocked with more than enough crockery, cutlery ect and everything you need for a kitchen. Property itself in a great location and so well presented. Towels and bedding provided each of the highest quality. We will stay again! Thank you
