High Birch Close is situated in a very quiet and unspoiled part of the Lake District. There are lovely walks from the door and Ullswater is a short drive away. The house is comfortable and well equipped with a large garden. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely detached stone cottage in rural Cumbria. It is within a short drive of Penrith , lots of amenities are available to you there. The house location was perfect for exploring the Ullswater, Keswick and Buttermere areas. There are fell walks right from the doorstep and beautiful views from the large extension of the house. The house is well equipped, has a washing machine and has plenty of space to park. We spent most of our time reading or walking. The Ullswater steamer provides a nice trip out across the water, and Greystoke Castle (of Tarzan fame) is a short drive away.Remember to take towels, as these are not provided.,
