Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Handy for some fantastic days out around Ullswater area and shops in Pooley Bridge. Weather was stormy at the start of our week, but the cottage was cosy and well equipped for when we were indoors. Dorothy was really helpful when we had an issue and got things sorted ASAP. Overall a lovely week and would definitely come again.

Crosslands, what a dream of a place to relax and purge your system of all those built up stresses. Clean, comfortable and wonderfully quiet with dreamy views over the Cumbrian countryside. The host makes you immediately welcome by making sure you have the basics required to settle in. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the tv is there if you feel you need it but to be honest it's better to look out of the window at that gorgeous countryside. From this base of tranquillity the fullest reaches of the Lake District are easy for you to enjoy. Totally recommend this beautiful bungalow.
