This was our second stay at Crosslands. It is an excellent property and ideal for my elderly (86) mother being level throughout and just a small step to get in. The property is well equipped and very clean and tidy. We had dogs with us on our previous stay and local footpaths are on the doorstep. The local pub is very good but for more facilities you really need a car as there are no shops nearby (Pooley Bridge being the nearest at about 3 miles) but with a car an excellent centre for the North Lake District ) Keswick 30 mins Carlisle 40. A lovely quiet place to come 'home' to at the end of the day.
