Directly from the property, you can walk to the stunning Aira Force waterfalls (4.5 miles), part of the Ullswater Way. England's third-highest peak, the majestic Helvellyn, is just 7 miles away. If you’re there at the right time, you’ll even be able to ski nearby – the local club (15 miles) offers nine runs around 60 days of skiing in a good year! Or if pampering is more your thing, head for a facial or massage at the four-star hotel 1.5 miles from the property.
