The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped with tons of cutlery and crockery etc for cooking/eating. In the cold and wet it was also warm enough in the evenings, made more so by the fire. Things that could be improved: 1. Bathroom upstairs - a shelf near the sink to put toiletries on 2. Kitchen - better quality cooking knives (I couldn't get them to sharpen) 3. Kitchen - functioning non-stick frying pans (they don't last) Thanks.

Very comfortable, high quality furniture and fittings. Great location. Since our last visit, the addition of the bathroom upstairs was a welcomed change. Both bathrooms are excellent, with superb powerful hot showers. At a push, the only slight negative would be the small TV, but it was adequate (I guess we're all used to big screens at home nowadays). And how nice a touch to provide coal for the excellent multi fuel stove.

Comfortable, very well equipped and beautifully clean and well maintained. Would most definitely stay there again.
