Had everything needed for a lovely stay. Only improvements could be the heating being on for the arrival time. We arrived at 4pm and the house was cold and took a little while to heat up. Only minor critique is the boiler noise in the top floor double, when it came on early in the morning it woke us up so we made sure it was off overnight but, again it took a little while to heat back up. These are only minor observations as it is a lovely place to stay and I will not hesitate in coming back.

Better than the pictures. We had 4 adults staying. I think 6 would have been very crammed in. 4 was ok. The lounge area has some very large mismatched chairs and sofas and a large coffee table. It would have worked better to have âtidier â furniture as it was hard to leave the room without falling over someoneâs feet The furniture in here was quite worn and a little grubby too. Otherwise we found everything to be very good. Excellent white fluffy towels and a good bathroom. The cottage is situated well for walking and has a very good pub. If you have a large car , it is better to cross over in front of the church -rather than try to negate the 6 foot 6 inches steep stone edged squeeze lane just before you turn left to the cottage.
