Riversdale is a stunning four bedroom, four bathroom detached lodge situated beside a peaceful stream. It has been completely re-furbished and modernised in 2019 and is ideal for large families or groups looking for that idyllic getaway. The property comprises a large living room with a wood burner, formal dining area with ample seating, modern fitted kitchen, a utility room and a downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor are four comfortable bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities for added privacy.
Before you even step over the threshold you have to pause for a moment to take in the stunning backdrop of the surrounding fells. Outside there is a charming garden with seating area. Riversdale comes with its own parking, so you can leave the car and explore one of the many walks that are available right from your doorstep. Just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’, or if you prefer, stay in and relax round the wood burner in the comfortable living room. Either way, you will be refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventure.
The property has a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing with a drink as the sun goes down. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

Riversdale is a lovely house in a fantastic location. Decor and furnishings of the property are beautiful although starting to look worn in places. . Let down by very few toiletries in the property (only one bathroom stocked), not cleaned properly in some places, I had to clean the bbq before use. I did contact the owner who didn’t apologise or address my concerns. These minor issues didn’t detract from a fantastic holiday but not 5 star accommodation.

Riversdale is a very welcoming property!Myself and my family loved everything about it!It had everything you would need in it regarding kitchen appliances and pots etc!The location was perfect for us ! We will definitely be returning.
