This second floor apartment commands magnificent views over Wansfell and towards Helvellyn. Situated within a small development called Oaklands, close to the centre of Ambleside, within a short stroll from the many shops, restaurants, pubs and local attractions together with the wide variety of excellent walks. In all an extremely comfortable apartment, appointed to a high standard and in a central location, from which to explore the delights of the Lake District National Park.

Good location, with easy access into town. Great to have a private parking space. Nice views of Wansfell and over town. Suited our needs for the week. Would be handy to collect keys in Ambleside to avoid a stop in Windermere.

Quiet, spacious apartment in the centre of Ambleside. Good facilities including large freezer.Comfortable bed and settees.Only downside was the fact that it was on the second floor, 4 flights of stairs, all with fire doors. Good views when you get there though!

A great location, had all we needed, comfortable bed, good shower, warm and clean. Very quiet, good views (second floor). A couple of minor things already mentioned in other reviews - need an extra lamp in the lounge, the bathroom blind really is in need of replacing as it's grim. Sofa cushions could do with a re-stuff. But only minor, didn't affect our stay, would happily book there again
