Upon arrival, find the ample off-road private parking before getting to know this amazing abode. Discover the fitted kitchen/diner, boasting that ‘wow factor’ with triple aspect floor to ceiling windows and patio doors revealing beautiful views to the Coniston Mountains. Make use of the high-spec appliances to assist with your home-cooking, including a double electric oven, 5-ring hob and an American style fridge/freezer, plus a breakfast bar for quick snacks and a large dining table for meals as a group.
After dinner, escape to the lounge and curl up beside the woodburning stove, flicking on the Smart TV in search of a family film. On warmer evenings, step outside to the spacious garden and relax amongst the shrubs and trees or rustle up an alfresco meal using the outdoor kitchen. The house was perfect in every way, every room was equipped with everything you could need. The garden was amazing and the kids absolutely loved the zip wire. Would definitely return if we ever come back to the Lake District.

Lovely house in so many aspects decor, layout, and practical issues space for all walking gear and large utility room . and secluded enough to enjoy the stunning views. We had a very relaxing stay following the Christmas festivities and hope to return again Thank you to the owners and Lakelovers C & K

Definitely the WOW Factor..⦠didnât want to leave ! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the Grandchildren, the older ones loved the Zip Wire (and the adults too) in the lovely BIG garden ! The house is comfortable & tastefully furnished, with lots of sociable space for adults to gather, & children to play, beautiful bedrooms with plenty of shower rooms /bathrooms to accommodate us all. We will recommend this place to all our family /friends and hopefully go back ourselves in the near future. 1 thing we were a bit disappointed about was, we called Sykes on the Saturday morning, to ask if they could speak to the owners, to see if we could check out at midday on the Monday, as we had checked online and it wasnât booked the rest of the week, we also offered to pay more ! We were declined, saying it was Sykes policy to check out at 10am. Loved the property so much, so extending our stay a bit longer would have been great !
