A 0.5-mile stroll down the hill brings you to the town centre, with its excellent range of pubs and restaurants. The town also has some fascinating specialist shops and outdoor adventure stores to explore. Ambleside is a great base for walkers, with easy access to routes such as Fairfield Horseshoe, Loughrigg, and Wansfell. Alternatively, for something a little less strenuous, try the Rydal Round or the Ambleside Heritage Trail. The town sits at the northern end of Windermere, and from Waterhead Pier you can join one of the cruises to explore the area from the water. The National Trust's Stagshaw Gardens makes a lovely day out, and you can also visit Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest (all within 10 miles).

The stylish apartment is arranged across two floors and is reached via a flight of external steps and a private entrance from the balcony. Inside, the property has a contemporary style and large windows framing leafy vistas and flooding the spaces with natural light. From the entrance hall, move through to the inviting lounge/diner where you'll find ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. Taking centre stage is a sumptuous L-shaped sofa where you can unwind and read your book or watch a movie on the Smart TV. To the rear of the room is a sleek kitchen area with a breakfast bar and everything needed for a self-catering getaway. Rounding off this room is a large dining table to seat everyone. Completing this floor is a handy shower room. Upstairs, you'll find two elegant bedrooms nestled in the eaves, both with plush linens and thoughtful touches for a good night's sleep. Choose from a gorgeous king-size or a versatile family room that can be made up as three singles or a super-king-size and one single to suit your needs. This level is also home to a refreshing family bathroom. Please note, the bedrooms have sloping ceilings, and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.
