Move through the property to find the kitchen, a compact but practical room which offers a good selection of essentials, including a washing machine and an electric cooker, to fix up delicious meals. These meals can be enjoyed back in the living/dining room at the pull-out dining table; why not crack open a bottle of bubbly and make a toast to this lovely retreat? When sleep calls, ascend the stairs to find two welcoming bedrooms, a double and a single with a truckle bed; both rooms feature exposed beams, giving them a touch of charm!

Nearby rests an attractive shower room; the contemporary, walk-in shower and wash off a day packed with fun in the sun and sand. In the morning, take a steaming cup of coffee out to the rear garden and soak up the tranquil surroundings, before venturing out to explore the local area. Cubert is a delightful village, where The Village Chip Shop and a convenience store rest a stone's throw away from the cottage; slightly further afield lies Poly Joke Beach, a pretty cove that is favoured by the locals! Travel a short way to Holywell Bay to discover your amenities resting in one location, including the highly popular Treguth Inn pub, along with the gorgeous sands of Holywell Bay, with its surf schools and dunes being points of interest. Further away you will find Newquay, Cornwall's surfing hub which boasts access to a plethora of beaches, as well as access to the South West Coastal Path and an array of fantastic attractions, such as Newquay Zoo, Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Perranporth, Truro, Padstow and a wealth of other picture-postcard towns and villages can be found in the wider area, where plenty more activities and sights are waiting to be discovered! Holywell Bay is a peaceful coastal village on the north Cornwall coast with a fantastic beach, gorgeous dunes, and a plethora of little streams and rock pools for the kids to explore. The beach, which is exposed to Atlantic swells, is also favored by surfers and body boarders. The twin rocks right off the coast known as Gull Rocks or Carter's Rocks are two of Holywell Bay's most fascinating features. The village includes a number of businesses and bars, whereas Cubert, a mile distant, has a Post Office, stores, a bakery and café, as well as a village pub and restaurant.

    Good location for walks. Woodburner was great for the chilly March evenings. Most importantly, the bed was very comfy! We didn’t want to leave! Thank you
