The location is very peaceful, yet only a short walk will bring you to the vibrant town of Bowness On Windermere with all it has to offer, from pubs and restaurants to cafés, delis and coffee shops & cinema. Or a short walk in the other direction will bring you to the town centre of Windermere with its own selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. During the day, head down to the shore of Lake Windermere, take in the beautiful views before joining a tour of the lake via the steamboats or if you prefer, hire some Kayaks and have your own mini adventures.
