Valley View Lodge is a spacious and beautifully presented lodge situated in the Wansfell area of Limefitt Park. The lodge backs onto a woodland area and enjoys breath-taking views of the surrounding fells. Valley View Lodge is a bright and airy lodge which is a perfect welcome retreat after a day hiking or sightseeing. The open plan living area offers a great place for all of the family to plan the next days activities. This unique lodge sleeps five people with a single third bedroom. The outside space has a great decking area with outdoor seating, perfect for outdoor dining in the warmer months. Limefitt Park is based in the Troutbeck Valley, only four miles from Windermere village, a bustling vibrant centre with shops, pubs and cafes; or a mile further on to Bowness with steam cruises, restaurants and shops. Back at Limefitt, you have two great local pubs in walking distance, there’s a pub and small shop on site too. On the other side of the valley is Wansfell Pike and over to Ambleside. Driving to Ambleside is around four miles, and Glenridding the village on the shores of Ullswater is ten miles away. Make some lovely memories here at Valley View, as you enjoy your Lake District break.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Second bedroom with full size twin beds and TV.

Third bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe and draws.

Family bathroom with full size bath, shower, WC and basin.

Fully fitted kitchen with open plan living and dining area, Sorry, no pets allowed.

Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge, the nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

A barbecue slab is provided but please bring your own disposable barbecue and dispose of it appropriately.
