Enviably situated in the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay awarded The David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation enjoys 60 acres of delightful wooded parkland running down to the shores of Lake Windermere.
Surrounded by fells offering beautiful scenery all year round, this is a perfect base for walking, climbing, fishing (national fishing licence required), sailing and boating with Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness all nearby.
After time spent exploring take a dip in the heated indoor pool with sauna followed by a relaxing evening in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant.
Accommodation is within easy reach of the lake and clubhouse, however please be aware that there may be steep gradients and undulating ground.
Please Note: There are no facilities available on Christmas Day and ticket access only on New Year's Eve.

As above- not very clean considering altered check in and out times. Think it was cleaner when we left as dettolled all surfaces. Needs lamps and grill handle. No toilet paper (this surely must have been accidental?)You get what you pay for I suppose

I was pleased with the site it was clean and tidy bus stop was handy if you did not want to use your car. the marina was lovely
