The cottage was in a great spot, nice and quiet off the main road but close to both Windermere and Bowness. Parking on the street was the only thing that I wasn’t too keen on but had no problem finding a space

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils of excellent quality. The lounge area comfortable and large enough for two people. Bed very comfortable and warm. We were able to adjust the central heating with very little effort. Only criticism was that smart TV's were difficult to operate as we were only able to get live television on BBC and ITV channels. (but that may be down to our lack of expertise).

The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The place is a great location to Windermere and not to far from other locations. The only negative experience we had was there was a lot of noise from tenants above late a night for a few nights which caused disruption to sleep due to them walking in and out and walking around there place which can be heard through the floor boards. Other than that this was a great stay and would recommend
