About this property

Fabulously elevated on the hill-side, the appropriately named Lake Vista Cottage is a striking Edwardian property and a masterpiece of elegance and grandeur.

Built as a gentleman’s residence, the home retains many of its original features, including window seats, fireplaces and elaborate lighting, and is absolutely beautifully presented inside and out! The kitchen is delightful in its classic farmhouse style, with a traditional Aga, a large central island and flagstone-style flooring. The formal dining area is a perfectly grand setting, with an ornate chandelier above the polished table. There are three charming reception rooms, each equipped with plush soft furnishings or elegant leather sofas and bursting with light! Underfloor heating will keep you comfortable, a wine cooler will keep you content and the Xbox console should keep all ages entertained!

There are five sublime bedrooms in total, each one is fabulously filled with natural light and oozes style with warm, soft tones and rustic charm and all grant gorgeous countryside views. There are four double rooms and one twin room, two of which enjoy ensuite shower rooms with excellent double-rain-showers, and one delightful family bathroom with a huge free-standing bathtub. From the stunning Juliet balcony in the master suite you can enjoy breath-taking views across this sublime Lakeland scenery.

And finally, step out into your extensive garden with a vast terrace which stretches all the way from the house into the distance, surrounded by dazzling foliage. To the far end there is a quaint seating area, at which you can feel totally at one with the natural world, listening only to the birdsong and rustling leaves.
