On a negative note, the property needs a thorough clean and could do with a lick of paint. There was cobwebs everywhere, the lampshades in one of the bedrooms and hallway were filthy. Even on the floors, there was still dust in places. The mop that is being used to clean the wood flooring is disgusting and needs replacing. The sofa and chairs and worn out so we’re uncomfortable. We will look at other places to stay in future during January as compared to a year ago when we stayed, it really has got worse.

The first time the bungalow had not been cleaned when we arrived (not ideal) but equally not the end of the world and was resolved within a few hours, luckily it was a sunny day and we could sit in the garden. On this occasion the property had been cleaned but it was not up to standard in my opinion, I appreciate a holiday home is unlikely to be as clean as your own home but the skirting boards were filthy as were the edges of the floors with heavy dust pushed up against it. The shower tray had dirty shoe prints on it, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned. The tiles in the kitchen were dirty, there was a used plaster stuck to the sheets in the master bedroom, I could go on! That being said we have stayed here twice and would stay again, the property is brilliant, a great layout including a utility/boot room, perfect location, loads of parking, an enclosed garden, dog friendly and modern interior. As long as you are happy with my above cleaning gripe you couldn't ask for anything more.

Comfy beds. My only small criticism would be the lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and a pair of tongs would have been useful. Apart from that we had a lovely stay and would definitely return.
