Remain on land by touring the Windermere Jetty Museum - Stories of boats and steam, or The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, ideal for families, before grabbing your walking boots for a hike through Borrans Park, reaching the picturesque landscape of Stock Ghyll Force in Ambleside. Kendal is also a key area of interest to add to your itinerary, with the chance to tour the remains of Kendal Castle, stroll alongside River Kent, or practise your swing at Kendal Golf Club, before returning home in time for supper. Gather your loved ones for a retreat at Bottletop.

Lovely property very nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and near to shops restaurant's and public transport Only one disadvantage for us no down stairs toilet and as we are both in our eighties and live in a bungalow found the stairs quite difficult But needless to say it is a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family Many thanks John and Shirley

It is so central for Windermere but in a really quiet street. Very well equipped and a cosy place to come back to after a busy day. One very small request would be for bath sheets,as we found the bath towels on the small side. Would definitely return.
