This welcoming, traditional cottage sits between the foot of Coniston Water and Lake Windermere, both of which offer a wealth of things to do and see. 7 miles from the tip of Coniston Water, treat yourselves to spot of lunch before making a splash and hiring boats or booking on a cruise. Take to the water and hire paddleboards or let someone else do the hard work as you take a ride on the gondola. Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and is well worth a trip. 10.5 miles from the vibrant town of Bowness on Windermere, enjoy all the area has to offer and walk, boat and explore your way around the water and the water s edge. If you fancy staying local, hop on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway for a train journey to remember. Arrive at this pretty, slate built cottage and step inside to make yourselves at home.
