The property was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The appliances were easy to use. The night storage heaters meant it was rather too hot for us at night, but we were otherwise happy with the temperature (we have different views of what is "comfortable" heat but were fine in the living area). Blackout curtains/blinds in the bedrooms would be a boon. Ideal for a short break in easy reach of Ulverston and the southern Lakes.

I went for my birthday last week. I went with my husband and cousin. The log cabin was beautiful, clean, tidy, and perfect for us 3. The view outside was like something you see in a postcard of the lakes. There are hills for miles. Wildlife out side your door and everything is a short drive away. The cabin itself had everything we needed. The living area was cozy and comfy and the bed rooms were perfect. The bed was really comfy even the pillows, I have stayed in a few places and this was by far the best. I would certainly recommend staying here to any and everyone. I had an amazing week. Thankyou.

First thing that greeted us was dirty ashtray. Rest of cabin was clean neat and tidy. Cups had to be washed before use and you wouldnt cook in oven ware without good clean. Oven door did not close and couldnt read dials but we didnt intend to cook anyway. Wasnt much info in cabin telling you where bins were or just WiFi and heating instructions nothing else. All but one leaflets out of date and magazines years out of date. We had to connect tv aerial and tune TV. Had to be careful in shower as water took ages to go down and would flood bathroom if you were not careful. Shame just little details that needed attention. We didn't inform the owner we ought to have but these where not new problems and we didnt spend much time there and didnt want any hassle. A warning on how hot the water was could be handy.
