Windermere is within easy reach (2.5 miles), with Fell Foot Park, the Lakes Aquarium, Stott Park Bobbin Mill and Gummer s How within 4 miles. The market town of Ulverston is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum (7 miles).
