Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests reported the apartment to be spotless, with only a few mentioning minor issues such as cobwebs and mould in the bathroom. The high level of cleanliness contributed positively to their stay.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to local attractions and the natural beauty of the Lake District, with many guests enjoying the proximity to walks and wildlife.

Guests found the accommodation very comfortable, with plump sofas and pampering beds. However, some noted issues with hot water pressure and noise from the boiler, which slightly impacted their comfort.

Facilities like the sauna, swimming pool, and kitchen equipment were appreciated, but there were recurring comments about maintenance issues such as leaky shower screens and taps. The closure of the pool facilities also affected guests' experiences.

While guests have enjoyed various aspects of their stay, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

We cooked all out meals in the kitchen. The apartment was OK though not at all plush.

The kitchen was very well equipped. Unfortunately there were a few other issues, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the main bedroom, the bathroom had black mould growing on the panels, the shower door leaks so much the bathroom floor floods and the plug still doesn’t fit the bath. The boiler noise was the worst.. like a dragon waking up from 3:30am through to 7am … ruined our sleep each night.

The plug in the bath is too small for the hole (it's the same plug that was there last year!) which makes it difficult to have a bath. I broke my arm on the Sunday making a shower impossible. A plug that fits would be great. Otherwise, a warm, comfortable stay.
