Jenny's is a traditional Lakeland property with a modern twist in the heart of the village. It offers wonderful, contemporary, ground floor accommodation for 4. This lovely property has recently undergone a major transformation by its owners to provide excellent facilities: including a very stylish kitchen and bathroom. Jenny's is just round the corner from the village centre, and has the advantage of a small private courtyard and private off road parking for two cars, enabling you to park up and forget about the car for the week and enjoy exploring on foot if you so wish. Because of the accessibility and layout of this property, it would be ideal for those with limited mobility.
The front door leads into a heated hallway with bench and plenty of space for muddy boots and coats. The door leads into the open plan lounge/dining area and kitchen. There are two large leather sofas and wall mounted TV and contemporary wall mounted coal effect fire act as a great focal point for this spacious room. There is a dining table with 4 leather chairs. The Kitchen is well equipped, having an electric oven with gas hob, dishwasher, fridge (with ice box) and built in washing machine.
A hallway leads to the bathroom which has a walk in double shower, basin and wc.
There are two pretty bedrooms. There is a twin room and a double bedroom with kingsize bed, which has french doors leading out into the private, enclosed courtyard which catches the evening sunshine. A lovely spot to unwind with a bottle of wine and plan the next days adventures.
The main living area has stylish flooring by Karndean and the bedrooms are fully carpeted making this a very practical, comfortable home in the heart of the village. The property is heated throughout by gas central heating making it ideal for stays at any time of year.

If you want a great location and a clean tidy cottage, then Jennys cottage in Hawkshead is a fantastic option. With 4 friendly pubs all within a minutes walk you can't go wrong, along with post office, Co-Op, tea shops and more. We stayed with a small dog and he was welcomed in all the pubs. Great location for walks that suit all abilities.

Fabulous week spent in Hawkshead at this wonderful property. Everything we needed was provided and we found it very comfortable. Location was brilliant being close to the centre, yet it wasn't a noisy area so we could relax after a long days walking. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
