Lovely local hamper stocked with goodies plus a welcome pack and visitors book with many recommendations for pubs and walks. Great location and the owners were super helpful and lovely despite us lighting the fake candles!

Probably the best we have stayed in. Ideal for our dog with the safe enclosed large garden. Access from the garden directly to the ‘Rocky common’ ideal for early morning and late walks. Michael the owner was extremely helpful with his update information after we had settled in. The welcome hamper was stocked full of local produce and most welcome as was the treats for our dog. Ideal location for exploring this end of the lakes. Excellent local pub and community shop within walking distance.
