Venture further afield in the car and just 5 miles away is the medieval market town of Faversham with it's fascinating independent shops, the famous Shepherd Neame brewery, plus restaurants and boat yards to discover along the creekside.

This is a lovely cottage, beautifully situated in a quiet location but within easy access to the surrounding area of Kent. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the owners had taken every care to make sure that it is Covid safe.

Lovely, cosy and comfy lodge, equipped to a high spec making the perfect get-away for two. Friendly and helpful owners. Great countryside and woodland walks from the door plus the bonus of a local pub within walking distance serving excellent homemade food. Although situated in a quiet spot, it's only an easy 20 minute drive into Canterbury. We were entertained by the family's chickens strutting around the garden, the pheasant making an appearance and the baby rabbit hopping around right outside our door one morning. We will definitely be back.
