This property is located just a short walk from the north east shore of Coniston Water in the picturesque Lake District. It offers the perfect base for exploring the area, and is great for those who want to enjoy scenic walks as well as boat trips and watersports on the lake. Lying on the opposite side of the lake to Coniston village, it is nevertheless only 1.5 miles from the village centre, where visitors will find several shops and a choice of pubs, as well as Coniston Boating Centre from where a range of craft can be hired including motor boats, sailing boats, canoes, and paddleboards. Just next to the boating centre is the departure point for the lovingly restored Victorian steamers which take visitors on leisurely cruises around the lake.
