This is a very popular single storey property with a private sunny patio. It has great views across rolling countryside to the lake and the mountains beyond framed beautifully by the original arched windows.
This lovely converted Lakeland farm is beautifully situated between Near Sawrey (the home of Beatrix Potter) and Esthwaite Water.
The family-run business offers comfortable, warm cottage/apartments. There is plenty of space, with a safe, sunny paddock ideal for children to play and dogs to let of steam. The farm is an ideal base for families, walking ,cycling groups (accommodation for groups up to 45) and welcomes many repeat visitors .
It is only a short stroll to the lake - ideal for fishing /picnics/paddling and enjoying the views ! This is a great, quiet location - tucked away from the main road but close to village pub and a good base from which to explore the Lakes or simply walk in the gentle surrounding countryside.A sunny L-shaped open plan living room/kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and electric oven, microwave and fridge.
The living room has a wood burning stove which offers a cosy focal point for the lounge , tv and DVD and 2 settees, dining table and chairs.
The bathroom has a large shower, wc and basin.
There are 2 pretty bedrooms - the double has great views from the bed towards the Langdales and 1 twin room with french doors leading out onto the patio.

Really comfy cottage really warm in the cold weather. Lovely views from the living room. Great walks from the property and ideal for the dog would come again .

Cottage was perfect. Difficult to find somewhere that will take three dogs. Ideal situation being only a short stroll from Esthwaite water. No noise, apart from sheep which we're used to,owl's hooting and the wife and dog's snoring ! The cottage was very well equiped,clean and comfortable. Hope to return in the near future.
