This lovely converted Lakeland farm is beautifully situated between Near Sawrey (the home of Beatrix Potter) and Esthwaite Water.
The family-run business offers comfortable, warm cottage/apartments. There is plenty of space, with a safe, sunny paddock ideal for children to play and dogs to let of steam. The farm is an ideal base for families, walking ,cycling groups (accommodation for groups up to 45) and welcomes many repeat visitors .It is only a short stroll to the lake ideal for fishing /picnics/paddling and enjoying the views ! This is a great, quiet location - tucked away from the main road but close to village pub and a good base from which to explore the Lakes or simply walk in the gentle surrounding countryside.A well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge.
The living room has a wood burning stove which offers a cosy focal point for the lounge , TV and DVD and settee and armchair, dining table and chairs.
The newly upgraded bathroom has a shower, wc and basin.
There are 2 coordinated bedrooms with pine furniture 1 double and 1 twin.

Our stay at Esthwaite Farm, Ullswater was perfect. The location is beautiful and the accommodation was lovely, very cosy especially with the wood burner lit. Nice walks from the door. We will definitely return.

Very good family break with beautiful surroundings and good facilities. Would have liked better WI FI coverage to keep the young ones entertained on occassions. But overall very good. Thank you

An excellent week at this well situated apartment. Much bigger than the internet photos would lead you to believe. Warm, cosy, comfortable and reasonably well equipped (could have done with additional baking trays, pan lids and a sharper knife) but we managed). Small freezer box in fridge with additional shared freezer space in shared laundry room. Brilliant tumble dryer (bring 50ps) and two washing machines. Really enjoyed the location and the cafe on the other side of the lake which also offered boat hire. Saw the Ospreys that hunt on the lake too. A place to return to again and again, season after season !
