Comfortable, full of character and very cosy, Pepperyeat is an ideal cottage in an ideal location in which to relax. We have holidayed in Pepperyeat for many years, are always sorry to leave and always look forward to our return. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Lovely Quaint Cottage with great walks and pubs on the doorstep Pepper Yeat is a quaint cottage in Far Sawry and therefore very close to the local pub which serves excellent evening meals and is dog friendly. The Tower Bank is also only a short walk away. There are many great walks right from the door including Claife Heights and Cunsy which leads to the shores of Windermere. Whilst the cottage was cosy it would've been a squeeze for more than a couple and a dog. The only thing that wasn't convenient was the shower which was fixed to the bath taps and not the wall however this was a very minor thing in the grand scheme of things and wouldn't put us off returning at all. Theres a nice little cafe Hillstop just a few metres away however we only managed to find it open just the once which was a great shame as we would've used it every day otherwise. We will return to the area this year but to a larger cottage for 4 of us and the dog :-)
