Situated on the outskirts of the popular town of Bowness on Windermere, the house is set within beautiful landscaped gardens in a unique, elevated location overlooking Lake Windermere.
This handsome property offers generous accommodation including a wonderful large kitchen complete with Aga, a sunny bright conservatory, a choice of sittings rooms, and a lovely dining room for those all important special celebrations. Rainy days are taken care of with plenty of family board games and an Xbox for the teenagers. On brighter days, enjoy a game of tennis followed by a soak in the hot tub. Lake views can be enjoyed from inside the property, but best of all from the feature decked area and landscaped gardens outside.
Within the heart of the beautiful Lake District and newly crowned World Heritage site, Cherry Trees couldn’t be better located for enjoying all that this stunning area has to offer. A 10 minute walk takes you into the bustling tourist town of Bowness on Windermere where there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars, offering a good selection of eateries to choose from. Nearby are a wealth of tourist attractions, Lakeland walks and country pubs, all within half an hour’s drive from Cherry Trees.

We had an amazing stay at Cherry Trees. The property was stunning (exactly how it looks in the photos ⦠if not better). It was spotlessly clean and had a fabulous hot tub with views. Another benefit was that we could walk into Bowness in 10 minutes so didnât need to take the car all the time. The property had a very well appointed kitchen with all the amenities you could want. My only niggle was that the kitchen could really do with a coffee machine (which I would expect at this level of property). We would definitely return.
