The hot tub was an added bonus. Great area to explore the quieter areas of the Lake District. Ruth the owner was very helpful

Everything was perfect for us and the dog washing facility was greatly appreciated at the end of a very muddy 8 hour hike. Ruth was a lovely host and nothing seemed too much trouble, coming to our rescue to help us get to a 50th birthday meal. The location was ideal to get out and explore the hills and the barn was a great place to relax at the end of a hike. The hot tub was nice and hot even on a cold rainy evening. Also the bed was so comfy, we almost took it back home with us. Thank you again for a memorably stay. I wouldn’t to have wanted to celebrate my birthday anywhere else.
