Snaptrip says

Cosy Corner in the Lakes is a well-received apartment in Penrith, praised for its cleanliness, homely touches, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras and the property's peaceful location, ideal for exploring the Northern Lakes. While most reviews are positive, noting the friendly owner and well-maintained facilities, a few guests mention minor issues with comfort and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The apartment is consistently lauded for its cleanliness, with guests highlighting the immaculate condition upon arrival and the attention to hygiene, which is particularly appreciated by those with health concerns.

While the reviews mention a peaceful stay and a good base for exploring the Northern Lakes, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location.

Comfort is generally rated highly, with guests finding the bed comfortable and the apartment cosy. However, one review cites an uncomfortable mattress, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of leisure amenities and a restaurant. Some guests, however, report issues with false fire alarms and worn-out aspects in the swimming pool area.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome cards and information folders. While these are appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Twice the fire alarm went off at night/early morning and it appears false alarms are a regular occurrence at this development. No staff were available immediately on site. Things were looking tired and worn out in the swimming pool area too.

I normally struggle sleeping in the beds provided in hotels/apartments etc but I found the bed in this studio was extremely comfortable. Everything I needed was provided and the Internet TV was a nice touch in helping me to catch up late on in the evening with the Tour de France. The little things provided like salt/pepper, cling film, tin foil and the various cleaning up products where appreciated. A fantastic host, who sorted out a query with swift, effective, efficiency. I would definitely recommend and I will no doubt book again.
