Enter into a welcoming hallway with space for outdoor walking clothes before heading upstairs to the first floor open plan lounge and kitchen where you will be greeted by magical treetop views through large windows. Step onto a large furnished balcony where al fresco meals can be enjoyed around a family dining table. The kitchen is bright and well equipped and the lounge is a social space with comfortable sofas and a large TV. On the ground floor there are three delightful bedrooms. The master bedroom features a sumptuous king size bed alongside a dressing table, TV and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is presented with twin beds and the final bedroom offers full size bunk beds, perfect for the kids. Enjoy a relaxing bath after a busy day on the fells in the smart family bathroom and dry coats in the handy drying cupboard.

With Keswick as your base, you can explore the surrounding region by foot, boat, bus or car. Some of the Lake District’s most famous walks start from Keswick including Cat Bells and Blencathra.

The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
