This charming, Lakeland farmhouse is situated on a working farm surrounded by fells and in sight of Blencathra, and the springtime here offers you a chance to watch the lambs playing in the fields. Threlkeld village is just over a mile away with a couple of lovely country pubs, a cricket pavilion, and a golf course. You can walk into the market town of Keswick, located 4 miles away via the footpath that runs along the old railway line. There is a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes in this lovely town. Annually, Keswick holds the Mountain Festival, a three day event with world class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films with live music. Derwentwater is only 12 miles away and offers some great water sports activities, or why not visit one of the area s wonderful local distilleries? The property was renovated in 2023 to a very high standard.
