Don't miss Keswick's regular market, on Thursdays and Saturdays, where you can sample a range of local produce. The famous Alhambra Cinema is also just a short stroll away and a 15-minute walk will take you to Crow Park on the northern shore line of Derwentwater, where you can visit the Theatre by the Lake, take the Keswick Launch or simply have a stroll along the beautiful lake shore.

Five shallow steps lead from the pavement to the shared front door with the upstairs apartment which is also a holiday let. When you go through the front door, you enter a small shared porch area and the door to your apartment is on the left. You enter straight into the living room; a bright and welcoming space with high ceilings and beautiful furnishings means you'll feel instantly at home here. The lovely living area has a two-seater sofa and a single armchair next to the large bay window with fantastic wooden shutter. For entertainment there's a basket of books, a large flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi. There is also a space with a desk and chair, for those needing to keep in touch with work - or just write a postcard or two to tell everyone back home about your Lake District adventures.

The spacious living area leads through to an equally spacious kitchen area with a large dining table, so the non-cook can keep the chef company. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, micro/grill/combi microwave, large toaster, kettle, fridge, separate three-drawer freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and large sink area.
