We were allocated the infamous Warpole Lodge 25 with the torn, duct-taped armchair! Duct tape so old it was no longer sticking as there were hairs and goodness knows what stuck to it! Yuk. It needs repairing properly, replacing or removing. Even arm covers would be better than nothing. The main TV would freeze up to 10 times a day meaning you had to switch it off at the socket to be able to get it to work. Maybe internet issues but it didn't happen with the bedroom TV.The boiler lost pressure every day resulting in no hot water or heating. Very frustrating when we woke to a freezing lodge. Luckily we knew how to top it up. The lodge is spacious, especially the bedroom, it's just a bit worn and tired. Marks on walls, some mould in shower, stains on carpet etcAll of these issues have been pointed out in many previous reviews so I'm unsure why they've not been addressed and rectified.Plenty of utensils, pans, baking trays, glasses and crockery. Could just do with some more cutlery, matching would be nice. Mattress and bed linen very comfortable. Soft fluffy towels. Hot shower, when the boiler worked.Bar area pleasant. We didn't eat at the restaurant but they'd decorated it nice for Christmas Day. Little 'shop' at reception selling essentials if you've forgotten anything.Short 3-4 minute drive to nearest pubs Sun Inn (nice food) and Castle Inn. Keswick and Cockermouth a 15 minute drive in either direction.Would stay again just not in a Warpole for fear of getting Lodge 25

As I said the chalet is showing a little wear and tear.
