Guests say

Hawthorne House is highly praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the property's proximity to local attractions and pubs. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, are well-received, though they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only minor feedback on the need for more thorough cleaning in certain areas like the kitchen and washing machine. Overall, the high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.

The location is frequently highlighted as quiet and ideal for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to nearby towns and a good pub within walking distance. The scenic views and proximity to walking routes enhance the location's appeal.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy, with ample room for relaxation. The presence of a well-equipped kitchen and facilities for drying walking gear add to the overall comfort. However, some guests mention the property being cold in certain areas.

The property is well-furnished with a range of amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen and a spacious shower. However, there are comments about the cooker being old and the need for updates to fire safety measures, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

While some guests mention receiving a welcome pack and a bottle of wine, these gestures are not consistently referenced across the reviews. As such, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available information, and the score is set to null.
