Guests have enjoyed stays at Regal Lodge, appreciating its spaciousness, comfortable setting, and beautiful scenery. The property is well-maintained with clean grounds, though some guests noted issues with cleanliness of kitchenware and a persistent smell in the en suite. The location requires driving for local amenities, and while the site is peaceful, it is near a busy road. Maintenance issues were reported but not resolved during the stay.
The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with well-maintained grounds and tidy interiors. However, some guests noted unclean pans and ovens, and an en suite with a smoke smell, slightly lowering the score.
The location is appreciated for its scenery and peacefulness, but the proximity to a busy road and the necessity to drive for local amenities have affected the score. The misleading directions and lack of walkability from the site are also noted.
Guests have found the caravan to be spacious and comfortable, with direct views and a secure decking area. The comfort of the property is a highlight for many visitors.
While the grounds are well-maintained, issues with window handles, a broken shower thermostat, and unresolved maintenance during the stay have impacted the facilities score. The welcome book also requires updating.
There is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews, therefore this category cannot be scored.

Lovely, relaxing caravan holiday and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Caravan was clean, but the en suite has a constant smell that’s as if people have been smoking in it. A lot of the window handles won’t open which is sketchy if there was a fire. Thermostat on the shower is broken. It’s either scalding hot or freezing cold. Adjusted the boiler output to control the temp. Text the owner and he was getting a plumber in, but it wasn’t fixed while we were there. Runs parallel to a busy road which is fine during the day, but doesn’t seem to quieten off on a night. Good location, but on the pricey side for what it is. Wouldn’t recommend for more than a couple of nights.

We absolutely loved our stay in this extremely spacious and comfortable caravan with direct views to Skiddaw. Would love to come back again.
